Founded in 1993 during a period of widespread economic and cultural crisis in Serbia, Galerija Zvono (Bell Gallery) opened its doors with the mission of nurturing young artists graduating from the Fine Arts Academy. Located at Višnjićeva 5 in Belgrade’s historic Dorćol district, this contemporary art gallery has spent nearly three decades championing emerging talents while helping them launch their careers. Zvono’s enduring presence has made it a cornerstone of Belgrade’s art scene, showcasing both established artists and new voices working across diverse media. Through thoughtfully curated exhibitions and participation in international art events, Galerija Zvono has played a crucial role in maintaining artistic continuity during challenging times and connecting Serbian artists with global contemporary art conversations.
