Dom Omladine Beograda Gallery
Gallery within the Belgrade Youth Center, focusing on contemporary and young artists.
Founded in 1964, the Belgrade Youth Center (Dom Omladine Beograda) Gallery has been at the forefront of Belgrade’s cultural scene for over five decades. This storied institution gained prominence in the 1960s and 1970s as a venue for rock performances and as a disco club, while also hosting groundbreaking artistic events. Most notably, it presented Marina Abramović’s first exhibition and screened erotic movies during the FEST film festival. In 1971, the center established the Belgrade Jazz Festival, further cementing its cultural significance. Today, DOM continues to organize diverse programs across all artistic domains—music, film, theater, visual arts, and new media—maintaining its legacy as a vital hub for youth culture and artistic experimentation.
