Galerija ‘Kuća legata’
Manages artists’ legacies and hosts exhibitions from these collections.
Established in 2004 by the Belgrade City Assembly, Kuća legata (Legacy House) occupies a distinguished location at Knez Mihailova 46 in the heart of Belgrade’s pedestrian zone. This cultural institution preserves and presents valuable artistic legacies and collections donated to the city. The gallery space spans 305 square meters across five exhibition rooms, providing an ideal setting for diverse art presentations. Notable exhibitions hosted here include American Pop Art in 2018 and the Belgrade Photography Month series in 2023. Legacy House serves dual purposes: honoring the artistic heritage of significant donors while offering contemporary artists a prestigious venue in which to exhibit their work. The gallery’s central location makes it highly accessible to locals and tourists alike.
